Born in Nova Friburgo, RJ.
Called to the Brazilian Bar Association (Rio de Janeiro Chapter in 1983, and São Paulo Chapter in 1992).
Founding partner of law firm Rodrigo Bonan Propriedade Intelectual, having acquired experience of over 40 years in the field.

Since 1981, I have built up a solid career at reputable firms in the field of intellectual property, acting in highly complex proceedings before Federal and State courts across the country and before Superior Courts, relating to trademarks, trade dress, company names, patents, industrial designs and software.
Major focus in the area of consultancy, contracts and administration, particularly before the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in proceedings relative to trademarks, patents, industrial designs and software and at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in matters relating to copyright.
My broad experience in the field of Intellectual Property has made me an important legal reference for national and foreign companies.
